I’m Just Saying…

I’m just saying…

Have you ever thought about how much you talk to people on a daily basis and the actual things that you say? Think about just basic things that you might be joking about, but you still said them. I am not trying to throw a guilt trip on anyone because I am just as bad as anyone else if you catch me in a bad moment where I am upset or something of that nature, but that is the nature of our sinful flesh.

Luke 1:64- And his mouth was opened immediately, and his tongue loosed, and he spake, and praised God.

Negativity and pessimism are not attributes of the attitudes that God has intended for us as His children. Some may try to contradict that statement and say that they are a realist, but in reality that is just negativity and pessimism in sheep’s clothing. When making the conscious effort to make a difference within yourself for your walk with God, you will see a difference in the world around you. God WILL bless the willing soul.

Every day the first thing I hope to come out of my mouth is praise and the last thing when I lay down my head at night, let it be praise unto God. Confidence, positivity, and a hopeful heart are all attributes of a child of the King. Life isn’t meant to be lived in what I refer to as the ‘Woe’s me’ status. By the Spirit of God, we are victorious in our praise and it is my life’s purpose to lift Him higher. My prayer is that God would loosen the tongues of His children and allow us to praise Him in all aspects of our lives. I’m just saying…
